Air Liquide received the “Fransk-Norsk Trophée” 2020 from the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with BNP-Paribas, on October 15 in Oslo. This annual trophy rewards a company, organization or individual that has particularly contributed to the development of industrial or commercial cooperation between France and Norway.

The award recognises Air Liquide's actions in Norway through its contribution for a more sustainable world, which is illustrated around three areas:

- the deployment of the biomethane activity in Norway, through its subsidiary Air Liquide Skagerak, where Air Liquide is present throughout the whole value chain, from production to distribution, for clean mobility but also for industry, with a circular economy approach,

- its participation in the world's first large-scale, low-carbon liquid hydrogen project dedicated to maritime applications,

- and its participation in the "Northern Lights" project, an ambitious Norwegian carbon capture and storage (CCS) project.

Air Liquide is honoured to receive this award which highlights its strategy of open innovation, the collaboration and partnerships with its ecosystems and demonstrates actions aligned with the Group’s Climate Objectives but also with its sustainable growth.
