Air Liquide takes part in European sustainable mobility week, from 16 to 22 September in Versailles

H2 mobility in Paris

The Versailles Grand Parc agglomeration community is organizing a meeting for the general public on 17 and 18 September during European mobility week, in order to promote hydrogen mobility. As an important player in the hydrogen energy sector, Air Liquide will be at the event to present its solutions for a sustainable and clean future.

In front of the Versailles townhall, a pavilion will host several hydrogen mobility stakeholders in order to present progress in this field to the general public. You will find Air Liquide's stand there on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th, from 10 am to 6 pm. There will also be a Hype hydrogen taxi, providing a free shuttle service between the various cultural sites (more information on site).

Another event, exclusively reserved for companies, institutional players and partners of the Versailles agglomeration, will take place at the Toussu-le-Noble airfield on September 16. The purpose of this event will be to discuss innovative sustainable mobility solutions, as well as raising awareness of the importance of clean transportation among companies. Air Liquide will present hydrogen energy more specifically, as well as its ongoing local projects.

Used with a fuel cell, hydrogen combines with oxygen from the air to produce electricity, with water as the only byproduct. Hydrogen is an alternative to fossil fuels in addressing the challenge posed by clean transportation and also helps to improve air quality. The station rolled out in Paris in 2015, like the 75 stations designed and delivered by Air Liquide around the world, allow hydrogen-powered electric vehicles to recharge in less than five minutes, and give them a driving range of around 500 kilometers (310 miles). This technology thus offers driving range and charging speed that are unequaled in the world of electric mobility.
