Air Liquide supplies Slovenia’s first hydrogen filling station

hydrogen station clean transport

Since mid-September, in Lesce – near Lake Bled in Slovenia – the first filling station for hydrogen-fueled vehicles has been up and running. This Air Liquide station has a daily capacity of 20 kg and aims to fill a hydrogen-powered bus developed by Rampini, an Italian company.

The project, supported by the European Union, has partners that include the Center of Excellence for Low-Carbon Technologies (CONOT), PETROL, DOMEL, TPJ and INEA.

The station is currently serving as a demo, and the feedback gathered during this phase will be used to ascertain future needs in terms of hydrogen infrastructure, while also helping to create a legislative framework for the expansion of this new energy.
