Autonomy, which will take place from October 6 to 9 in the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris, is a festival devoted to the issue of changing urban mobility.
In terms of players from the hydrogen industry, Pierre-Etienne Franc, VP of Air Liquide advanced business and technologies and coauthor of the book “Hydrogen: the energy transition in the making!) encourages you to attend the conference “L’hydrogène, chaînon manquant de la transition énergétique” (Hydrogen: the missing link of the energy transition), which will take place at the Studio on Saturday October 8. It will focus on the solution of hydrogen energy, which is still too low-key but provides fantastic opportunities for using renewable energies to further clean mobility.
A variety of stakeholders (companies, start-ups, public authorities, etc.) will be at the festival presenting their innovative projects and talking with the public about urban and sustainable mobility. Open to the general public from October 7 to 9, this event will be an opportunity to discover diverse innovations as well as testing them on a specially built track. Faced with the energy challenge, Air Liquide is rethinking sustainable mobility through the lens of hydrogen energy. With the creation of 75 hydrogen charging stations, the Group is developing this sector throughout the world. Hydrogen energy technology gives vehicles a range of 500 km with a recharging time of under 5 minutes, making it a real alternative to fossil fuels. Used in a fuel cell, hydrogen combines with oxygen from the air to produce electricity, with water as the only by-product. Hydrogen energy is therefore an appropriate solution to the challenges of sustainable mobility and clean transport.
